Insulcool provides architects and designers with high performance commercial and residential double glazing options for Perth’s demanding heating and cooling requirements.

Insulcool provides architects and designers with high performance commercial and residential double glazing options for Perth’s demanding heating and cooling requirements.

InsulCool Double Glazed Units (also known as insulated glazing units, or IGU’s) consist of two layers of glass separated by an air or argon filled gap. We manufacture our InsulCool units using glass from Viridian, Guardian and St Gobain. Comprehensive performance data on available glass types and combinations can be downloaded on our downloads page.

The combination of airspace and multiple glass panels creates an additional barrier that decreases the air-to-air temperature transfer, while reducing direct and radiant temperature transfer from outside or inside the building.

InsulCool units are most effective when combined with Low-E performance glass and argon gas. Where applicable, larger spacer widths are encouraged as this increases the performance of the unit. InsulCool units are suitable for both residential and commercial applications, please contact us to discuss which InsulCool makeup will best suit your project.
