Cooling Brothers Glass Company has added a new configuration to its InsulCool Ultra Pro series — the Ultra Pro 76 — a dual silver soft coat IGU engineered for high visible light transmission without compromising thermal performance in cold-climate and high-performance commercial applications.
What Is the Ultra Pro 76?
The InsulCool Ultra Pro 76 is a soft coat, magnetron sputtered Low-E IGU make-up designed for specifiers who need maximum visible light transmittance alongside the low U-values required in climate zones 6 and 7. With a visible light transmittance of 70% in 6mm configurations and 69% in 8mm, the Ultra Pro 76 addresses a common specification challenge: achieving daylight performance targets without sacrificing the thermal envelope.
The product is available in both air-filled and argon gas-filled configurations, in 6mm and 8mm substrate options, paired with a 12mm cavity and clear backing glass. For projects requiring maximum thermal performance, the Ultra Pro 76 coating is also available in a triple-glazed configuration through Cooling Brothers' IGU line.
