Cooling Brothers is proud to announce that our new CNC processing line is now fully operational in Melbourne, bringing faster turnaround times, precision edgework, and seamless project support to fabricators, glaziers, and builders across Victoria.
With this new investment, our Melbourne site can now deliver millimetre-perfect CNC edgework to ±0.5mm tolerance, while reducing lead times to just days. For customers, that means greater confidence, fewer delays, and exceptional finishes on every project.

Updated CNC specification and leadtimes for Melbourne projects
The new Vertical CNC line has been designed to handle a wide range of project requirements with speed and precision.
Specifications:
- Minimum size: 420 × 280mm
- Maximum size (CNC processing): 4500 × 2800mm
- Maximum size (toughening): 4200 × 2700mm
- Glass thickness: 4–19mm
Leadtimes:
- CNC Float: 2 days
- CNC Heat Treated: 2 days
- CNC Toughened Laminate: 4 days
This means the CNC can machine larger panels than the toughening furnace can accommodate, offering flexibility for both large-format architectural panels and custom components with absolute accuracy.

Delivering clean, polished edges and architectural precision, CNC processing ensures flawless results for frameless balustrades in both residential and commercial projects. VistaView frameless glass balustrades provide durability and design flexibility without a handrail, making them a standout choice for architectural glass solutions across Melbourne. CNC machining allows for accurate processing of complex shapes, cut-outs, and curved designs, giving architects and builders greater design flexibility.

High-visibility applications demand exacting standards, especially for high-end Frameless glass shower screens - a popular architectural glass solution for Melbourne homes and developments. CNC processing provides the consistent tolerances required for frameless showerscreens and custom bathroom installations, as well as millimetre perfect, smooth edgework. Similarly, precision cutting ensures anti-slip glass flooring can be manufactured to size and delivered site-ready, supporting any requirements for glass flooring or staircases.
